RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College senior Trina Plummer (West Babylon, N.Y./North Babylon) has been named to the 2013-14 All-Met Division II Women's Second Team by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association. Balloting, which was announced on Wednesday, was performed by area head coaches.
Plummer, a 5-foot-11 forward, is an All-Met selection for the first time. She started all 27 games, and averaged 17.0 points (7th in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference), 7.1 rebounds (19th) and 1.70 steals (10th). She was also named to the All-CACC Second Team.
A four-year starter, Plummer is Felician's all-time leader in rebounds (680) and steals (206). His 1,386 points rank third on the school career scoring list. She is the fourth Golden Falcon female to earn All-Met honors. Plummer is a 2010 graduate of North Babylon High.
Felician posted a 12-15 overall won-lost record in 2013-14 under sixth-year head coach Steve Fagan. The Golden Falcons reached the CACC quarterfinals after putting up a 10-9 league record.

Plummer and the rest of the All-Met teams from both genders and all three NCAA divisions will be honored at the 81st Annual NIT/MBWA Haggerty Awards Dinner on Tuesday, April 22, at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, N.Y. The All-Met awards are the oldest set of continuous college basketball awards presented by the media.
