LYNDHURST, N.J. – Junior forward Danielle Jenkin (Pompton Lakes, N.J./Pompton Lakes) scored twice in the first 11 minutes and added a second-half assist to lead Felician University to a 3-1 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference women's soccer victory over visiting Bloomfield College on Wednesday evening at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.

Senior midfielder Giana DiTonto (Lyndhurst, N.J./Lyndhurst) also tallied for Felician (3-8, 3-6). It was DiTonto's first goal of the season.

On the first corner kick attempt for either side, Jenna Fischetto's (Wallington, N.J./Wallington) offering connected with Jenkin deep inside the 18-yard box. Jenkin settled the ball and lifted a six-yard chip shot over the head of the Bloomfield goalkeeper. Six minutes, 35 seconds, had elapsed in the contest.

Jenkin struck again with 10:35 gone by. She collected a long pass and carried the ball adjacent to the left goal line, then beat a defender to create an open shot for herself.

The hosts carried the 2-0 lead into halftime, then took full control by scoring in the 49th minute. Senior Sami Lederle (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial) served a ball into the box which bounded off of Jenkin right to DiTonto, who tapped in for the three-goal edge.

Golden Falcon sophomore keeper Jamie Kazenmayer (Forked River, N.J./Lacey Township) earned the victory with seven saves in 73 scoreless minutes. Bloomfield (1-11-1, 0-8-1) ended the night with a 11-10 edge in shots, but Felician's advantage on the attack showed with its 10 corner kicks to the Bears' two.

Bear junior Alexis Smith (Neptune, N.J./Neptune) spoiled the Felician shutout with a goal from about 20 yards away with 51 seconds left in regulation time. Freshman Victoria Napolitano (Garwood, N.J./Arthur L. Johnson) got off a team-high three shots, while Jenkin topped all players with six.

The Golden Falcons play during Felician's Homecoming & Family Weekend on Saturday, entertaining Holy Family University at 5:30 p.m. in Lyndhurst.
