RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician University freshman Briana Lee (Jersey City, N.J./Irvington) has been selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the period ending Nov. 24, the CACC announced today. Lee earns the honor for the second consecutive week.
Lee, a 5-foot-9 guard/forward, earned her latest award on the strength of her performance in Felician's road loss to Pace University on Nov. 21. In 36 minutes, she collected 18 points, 21 rebounds, four assists and three steals. Her rebound total was one short of the school record. Lee became just the fourth Golden Falcon female, and first in 11 years, to grab 20 or more rebounds in a game. The contest was the Golden Falcons' only action of last week.
